Licensed Professional Counselor Access Behavioral Health ServicesBoise Clinic

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. With over 3 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in working with individuals aged 13 to 35, helping both males and females navigate challenges such as anxiety, psychosis, depression, and trauma. I am particularly passionate about supporting clients in finding meaning in life and building healthier relationships.

My therapeutic approach blends Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strongly believe that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors. Automatic thoughts, often rooted in past traumas or experiences, can shape our perceptions, and I work with my clients to challenge these thoughts and view them through a new lens. I provide a safe, supportive environment where clients can identify triggers, process emotions, enhance coping skills, and explore relationship issues while learning about healthy relationship dynamics.

I have specialized training in anxiety, psychosis, trauma, ethics, grief, and suicide assessments. Drawing from personal and professional experiences, I understand the complexities of grief and loss. Additionally, I often incorporate music into therapy sessions, as I’ve found it to be a powerful tool for reducing stress and fostering emotional healing.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our cat, Gizmo. I also love going to concerts, camping, hiking, singing, and immersing myself in the natural world.
