Heidi is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and advocate with more than 34 years of diverse healthcare experience, including oncology, acute care, and mental health. At Access Behavioral Health (since 2024), she provides comprehensive psychiatric care—psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management—while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans. Heidi’s approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic, integrating mental and physical health with a focus on managing co-morbidities such as diabetes and heart disease. She is skilled in crisis intervention, psychopharmacology, and EHR documentation, and is committed to improving access to care, especially in rural and underserved communities. Heidi is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Gonzaga University, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and the highest standard of care.
