Deborah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Advanced Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University and brings rich experience from nursing home social work, leading a homeless shelter, serving with Ada County Drug Court, supporting individuals at Terry Reilly, and working in private agencies as both therapist and clinical supervisor.

Deborah’s approach is person-first, strengths-based, and deeply compassionate. She believes people are never defined by a diagnosis and works collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their values, capabilities, and hopes. Her work is trauma-informed and evidence-based, drawing from Adlerian Psychology (basic and advanced certifications), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and her advanced training in substance use treatment.

She sees clients ages 12 through older adulthood, welcomes all genders, and is currently seeing clients in Nampa. Areas of focus include trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and care for those who are severe and persistently mentally ill (SPMI). Deborah recently joined Access and is excited to serve the community with accessible, respectful, and practical care.

A little about Deborah: she was born in Alaska shortly after statehood and brings that resilient, down-to-earth spirit into her practice. You may also meet Bernie, her hypoallergenic cockapoo emotional support animal, who comes to work with her and offers a gentle, calming presence during sessions.
