As a respite care provider, you will be engaging youth in their interests in the home and in the community. Activities can range from watching movies and playing games to shopping and going to parks. You will coordinate with families and the program supervisor to make your schedule.

Responsibilities
- Complete all new hire trainings and paperwork
- Maintain CPR and First aid certification
- Create your schedule, be consistent and on time
- Meet with youth and engage them in their interests
- Maintain documentation
- Meet with supervisor monthly
- Complete 4 hours of continuing education yearly
- Effectively coordinate any changes in treatment needs of youth and family with the program supervisor
Requirements
- Have experience working with families and youth with Mental Health issues
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be 18 or older
- Have a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation
- Applicants must have CPR/First Aid certification (we can provide certification)
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
