About Us

Access is an outpatient behavioral health clinic. We serve people of all communities and currently offer two locations in Boise and in Nampa. Our desire is to help improve the quality of daily life for our clients.

Access Behavioral Health Services is a for profit agency that serves the public without regard to race, creed, age, national origin, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status or inability to pay. The owners have been in the field of human services for a combined 30+ years. At Access we pride ourselves on providing best-practice client-centered services.

Leslie Maggard
Licensed Professional Counselor/LPC ABHSMental Health Clinic

Leslie Maggard graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2019 with a Master of Science degree emphasizing in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. Leslie’s passion for counseling comes from her desire to help people meet the goals that they set out to achieve. Her primary tool for helping people stems from the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy where she works with individuals to help change the way they think about things. Doing this, changes the way people behave, and ultimately the way they feel about themselves.

Leslie has completed extensive training in helping people affected by different types of trauma. She is trained in EMDR and play therapy. Leslie loves working with clients of all ages, cultures, and especially those who identify as LGBTQIA. Her hobbies include bowling and playing softball. Leslie enjoys spending time with her spouse of over twelve years and her two teenage children. She has first-hand experience with helping children with disabilities and helping step-families thrive in their relationships. Leslie is available for individual, couples, or family counseling.

Jen Mothersill
DDA Clinical Supervisor ABHSDevelopmental Therapy Program

Jen graduated from Boise State University in 2015 with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology paired with a Mediation Life Skills Certificate. She has been actively working in the developmental disabilities field in some degree since 2008. Following her college graduation and undercover agent career, she landed at Access Behavioral Health in early 2016. In 2019, she was brought on to support the management team as a Clinical Supervisor for the Developmental Disabilities Agency Program. As a Clinical Supervisor, she supervises the Intervention Technicians and Intervention Specialists and provides support to Intervention Professionals.

Jen works closely with parents, guardians and case managers to ensure that the children receiving services are able to have as much support as possible and that individual needs are being met. She utilizes her Mediation and Life Skills certification daily to effectively communicate with parents and guardians and to train Intervention staff. Along with her co-clinical supervisor, Jen is passionate about encouraging staff to pursue their personal goals and professional growth/development. In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.
